About Us

The Buckhorn Foundation was incorporated as a tax exempt family foundation in 2015. We believe that our hard work created opportunities and therefore are pleased to be able to provide grants to non-profits in support of our mission to create opportunities for others.

Examples of grants awarded include:

Tuition assistance for musical ensembles
Organized school travel opportunities
Governmental leadership programs
Preschool mission work in developing nations
Scholarships for study abroad at the University of Virginia

Located in Charlottesville and Southside Virginia our foundation is named after our family farm.
